Addison Scrapbook Frame Display

Posted in Scrapbook Pages, Craft Ideas at 9:00 pm by admin

Babies seem to have some much cute stuff from the hospital. I found this frame at Target. It’s by “Sprouts” and it cost about $8. I made a similar display for Gavin 3 1/2 years ago, although it has less decoration.

This paper is by K & Co. It’s called “Quilt Blocks” I attached one of Addison’s sonogram pictures along with her birth announcement photo and the ribbon from a gift we received. I also included her hospital bracelet, hospital hat, and her birth announcement from our local newspaper.

I used Zots adhesive from Hobby Lobby to attach the bracelet and hat. The flowers are Making Memories and are attached with brads.  Total time to complete 45 minutes after I decided what pictures to include!!

Scrapbook- Christmas Tree Hunt

Posted in Scrapbook Pages at 11:57 pm by admin

It has been a Moody Family Tradition since we were married and living in an apartment to get a Christmas Tree. The first few years they were “Charlie Brown” trees very small and kind of homely looking. In recent years we get a huggable tree! This is our measuring device. If we can stretch out our arms around the tree and touch it will fit in our house.

This year we went to a really cute farm called Chestnut Charlies! We always go with Peter’s parents and now this year we took both of the kids, although from the picture you can tell Addison thought it was a real snooze!

Family

Posted in Scrapbook Pages at 9:44 pm by admin

Now that we are a family of 4, I love to do layouts with our family pictures! This was our 1st professional photo taken at Portrait Innovations for our Christmas cards!

img_0895.JPG

Super easy layout. This paper is by Stemma “Families are Forever”. The ribbon is from Michaels craft store and the burlap twine is from Joann’s fabrics. The tags are Making Memories and I inked the edges with Jim Holtz’s Distress Ink “Vintage Photo”. The stamps for our names were ordered from a local stamp/scrapbook store, but any alphabet stamps will do!

The photo was printed in sepia tone with a canvas border, printed at Wal-mart. The photo is attached with Zots 3D adhesive. Total time to complete this layout 30 minutes.
